Tampa Law firm is seeking a Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years litigation experience. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree with a paralegal certification from an ABA approved paralegal program. Duties include: handling cases from inception through trial, maintaining paper and electronic files of large volumes of discovery materials, procurement of records, medical chronologies, preparation of exhibits, communications with experts, and other day-to-day file management. Some overtime and travel attending trial required. Must have excellent organizational ability and advanced computer skills beneficial. Experience with FileSite preferred but not required. Individual will work closely with attorneys and be responsible for a heavy workload, including document-intensive cases.
Ideal candidate would have prior product liability defense experience with extensive medical chronology, some construction experience would also be helpful but not required. Candidate should be detailed oriented, the ability to manage and reprioritize case work daily, work well under pressure, and be able to make decisions regarding cases and be able to initiate contact with clients, attorneys and other involved parties.

Needed immediately for Tampa Law Firm. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience as a pre-litigation personal injury law firm paralegal or case manager. Bilingual English and Spanish is a must. Candidate will work directly with injured clients and providers. Specific knowledge of auto accident, slip and fall, and premise liability are needed. Candidates must also possess strong customer service skills and be able to communicate and listen effectively with attorneys, doctors, and patients. Will correspond with clients, insurance adjusters and providers as needed. Medical records review, demand preparation, and settlement negotiation experience are valuable bonus skills.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
