Downtown St. Petersburg Law Firm is seeking a full-time experienced corporate paralegal. The Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for providing legal support and paralegal services on a wide variety of moderate to complex corporate legal matters and projects. Experience with Real Estate and Estate Planning practice areas a plus. Duties will include but not limited to: corporate governance including drafting resolutions, preparing documents for corporate meetings, minutes, and maintaining corporate books; SEC compliance including preparing drafts of SEC filings desirable, proxy statements, and assisting with other required reports; assist with corporate documentation for business transactions, and general support for management and special projects. Salary $50-$60K BOE plus full benefit package and free parking.

Payroll/Expense Coordinator 053

Needed for Downtown St. Petersburg law firm. JOB SUMMARY The Payroll/Expense Coordinator is responsible for the day-to day administration of the firms payroll function and expense reimbursements. The Payroll/Expense Coordinator responsibilities include processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis, processing expense reimbursements on a weekly basis reconciling and recording all associated entries. As part of the accounting team, the Payroll/Expense Coordinator will aid in the completion of financial objectives established by the CFO and Finance Committee. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process semi-monthly payroll and partner payments administered through the PEO system Perform all new employee on-boarding tasks as related to the PEO system Maintain employee benefit files Reconcile all benefit invoices to payroll withholdings on a monthly basis Reconcile all 401k contributions to payroll withholding on a semi-monthly basis Review, audit, and process incoming expense reports, and accompanying documentation Process electronic ach payments through banking system Respond to inquiries and issues received from external vendors, employees, and partners. Work diligently to resolve issues in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner. Perform backup duties as required for the A/P Coordinator Provide support to CFO as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Understanding of the payroll process for exempt, and non-exempt employees, as well as an understanding of earnings, deductions and payroll related taxes Working knowledge of accounting and understanding of general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices and expense reimbursements Experience with online banking payment processing Exercise confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive data, information, and situations Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work well within a deadline-driven environment Top-notch organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. Must also be able to exercise excellent judgment and know when to consult with appropriate individuals. Positive personality, can-do attitude, and professional demeanor Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to use Excel to sort, filter, and analyze data. Knowledge of Juris accounting software a plus, but not required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE College degree preferred Three to five years of Accounting experience in a professional services firm preferred. Salary $36K-$40K plus full benefit package.
