Duties:

Proofread correspondence and pleadings prior to their distribution;
Provide excellent customer service;
Sort all incoming mail and appropriately label received items;

Needed for growing North Clearwater law firm. Law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 2-3 years prior litigation
Duties:
Scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials Managing discovery on multiple cases Drafting complaints, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions and correspondence Prepare hearing and depositions Communicate with opposing counsel, court admin. And clients Proficiency with e-filing through the courts
Qualifications:

Needed for Clearwater Law Firm. 3-5 years experience needed in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration. Full-time opening but will consider part-time as well.
Requirements:
Have knowledge of estate planning, probate & trust administration. Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information. Knowledge of e-filing, protocols, and court system in Probate Court. Professional appearance, excellent client relations skills and telephone etiquette, and must be a team player. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, document management software and the ability to learn new software. Assist with scheduling hearings and depositions Highly detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize duties.
Salary:
$48K to 55K BOE plus full benefit package for full time employee

Needed for Clearwater law firm. Qualified candidate will have 3-5 years civil litigation and probate experience. This position will start part-time or full-time. Will support one attorney

Duties:
Ability to prepare pleadings, motions and legal correspondence;
E-filing in various courts;
Schedule and maintain calendars for hearings, depositions, client meetings;
Meet deadlines and various other duties.

Legal Secretary/Admin. Assistant Part-time/Contract 239
Needed for New Port Richey law firm. Work involves the use of initiative and a high degree of independence in carrying out assigned duties.

Duties:
Preparing legal documents based on an attorney’s draft (e.g. pleadings, orders, contracts, legal memorandum, briefs etc.) preparatory to court filing and subsequent judicial processing.
Preparing complex documents for an attorney's approval with minimum supervision.
Preparing routine legal documents for hearings, depositions, service of process, subpoenas, etc.
Overseeing E-Filing of court documents through the courts E-Filing portal.
Scheduling attorney's appointments and hearings on appropriate court calendar, maintaining attorney’s calendar and resolving scheduling conflicts.
Assisting with general clerical routine of the office including but not limited to notarizing, scanning and copying documents as needed.
Interviewing applicants for legal assistance and establishing preliminary eligibility.
Opening case file organization, chronological entries documenting case activities on status sheet or Legal Server, file maintenance to insure LSC compliance and changing any incorrect information in Legal Server.
Maintaining office records and assisting in collection of data for grant reports and preparing grant reports as directed.
Composing routine correspondence.
Performing other duties assigned by Team Leader, including private attorney involvement if appropriate.

Desirable Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of business English, legal terminology, spelling, punctuation, and mathematics.
Ability to maintain clerical records and prepare reports from such records.
Ability to understand and follow moderately complex oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of various methods of service of process, various types of subpoenas and (when used) details for brief format, memoranda format, complaint format, proper form of citations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated typing ability.
Demonstrated ability to draft legal papers of various types (e.g., complaints, answers, orders, etc.), from attorney's instruction. Exceptional motivation for self-improvement.
Salary: $14 per hour/Average 20-30 hours/Approx. 6 months
