Corporation located in Clearwater that provides home healthcare services to consumers is seeking a Corporate paralegal on a contract basis with potential for full-time. The role will support the Associate General Counsel on matters of significance in the areas of litigation, employment, general commercial, corporate governance and compliance matters as well as provide general administrative support.
Duties:
Developing compliance policies’ Corporate governance entity maintenance Commercial work negotiating contracts Manage general commercial matters (e.g. review and draft commercial agreements, develop form templates to meet common high-volume issues, and assist with contract administration activities) Assist attorneys with corporate secretary/governance matters including: Developing compliance policies’ Corporate governance entity maintenance Commercial work negotiating contracts Read, interpret and draft legal documents Conduct legal research as requested Perform complex factual research and investigation Communicate with internal associates on behalf of legal department, as directed from time to time Provide administrative support services

Duties:
Will handle all aspects of family law cases from inception to settlement and/or trial. Must have ability to draft routine motions and pleadings, answer and propound discovery, analyze and organize discovery, mandatory disclosure documents, communicate with clients, and experts, and prepare attorney for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.
Qualifications:
Able to handle multiple responsibilities, work in a team environment, must be detail oriented, team player, well organized, self-starter and multi-tasker. Excellent communications and inter-personal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe are mandatory.
